Client: Frei’s Inside Scoop – Local ice cream shop

Project Type: Website design, digital menu, and logo design
Goal:

Create a charming, scroll-friendly site that reflects their small-town vibe while clearly showcasing flavors, shop hours, and location. The client wanted something welcoming and easy to update, with a homegrown feel—but without looking homemade.

What I Did:

  • Designed a custom Wix website from scratch

  • Structured a clean homepage with intuitive navigation

  • Optimized layout for mobile browsing

  • Created a branded digital menu to loop in-store

  • Styled photo galleries and curated imagery for visual consistency

  • Designed a custom logo that fits their nostalgic, family-friendly identity

  • Linked Google Maps and business info for easy local search

Tools Used: Wix, Canva Pro, basic photo editing tools (color correction, cropping)

Project Notes:

The shop didn’t have much online presence before this project, so the goal was to make everything feel professional but personal. I focused on warm visuals, clear info, and giving them something they could grow with as their menu and customer base evolve.
The digital menu was also designed to support in-person operations—looped on a small screen behind the counter to help customers choose quickly without blocking the line.

Takeaway:

Even small businesses deserve thoughtful design. This project brought together branding, content organization, and practical tools that not only look great, but also help a beloved local shop run more smoothly day-to-day.
